Source

Purpose: From this page of the data section of DataManager you can manage the sources for your data. Sources can be added, edited, or deleted from here. It is very important that your sources are properly entered into the software to ensure data integrity and consistency.

Add a Source

1. If you want to add a source to your list then click on the “Add” icon.

1. Once you have selected the “Add” icon you will be redirected to this page. The first step to properly adding a source to the software is to input the name of the source publisher.
2. Then, give a title to your source, this will be what it appears as in the software.
3. If need be, input the year that your source is associated with.
4. If you want your source to appear in the software with a shorter, easier name then input that name into this box. This is optional and the source will appear under the title name that you gave it if you do not fill this box in.

Editing a Source

1. If you want to edit an already existing source, select the source you want to edit from the list.
2. Select the “edit” icon.

1. The source editing page is the same as the source adding page. Adjust the publisher label, title, and time period of your source accordingly.
2. Click “Save” to permanently save your changes.
