Purpose: For each area that has been inputted into the software, there is the possibility to add images of maps illustrating the geography of the area. It is from this page that you upload the images of maps that illustrate that particular area.
Add Area Map
- Select the area that you will add a map for.
- Then, select the “Map” icon.
From this page, you can add a new map, edit an existing map, or delete an existing map.
- To add a map select the “Add” icon.
- Once you have made it to the “Add Map” page you will upload the file to the software using the folder icon. Also, if you have the GeoJSON file then you would upload this using the folder icon in the second row.
- Enter the map name into this box.
- In this box enter the Start Date for the map, to indicate the beginning of the time period for which the map was made.
- In this box enter the End Date for the map, to indicate the end of the time period for which the map was made.
- Select the Association Type.
- If the association type you select is “Sibling” then a row will pop up so that you can select what the sibling association is.
- The “select sibling” box is to indicate for which other areas the map will need to be displayed for.
- Click on the “Save” icon to permanently save your work.
- If the association type you select is “Split” then a checkbox will appear for you to indicate whether the map will be associated with a composite map or not.
- Indicate whether the map will be associated with a composite map or not.
- Click “Save” to permanently save all changes.
